Interesting Sculpture!!

This sculptural masterpiece is in fact a shoe. It's constructed from a single piece of carbon fibre, laminated with rubber for the soles and leather on the side that touches the skin. The carbon fibre wraps around the wearer's foot forming support for both the heel and the ball of the foot.

Japanese sculptor Sayaka Kajita Ganz creates her amazing sculptures out of pre-loved goods, many of which look like they had a previous life as kitchen utensils. The artist feels that the pre-loved nature of the materials she uses adds life to the final sculptural works.

 

 

These amazing sculptures are created by Joe Pogan. He creates animal sculptures using various "found metal" objects like old watches, sprockets, nuts and bolts.
